APPRENTICESHIP LINEMEN TRAINING PROGRAM
At C.W. Wright our goal is to provide our employees with life-long, rewarding careers in the electrical utility industry. We accomplish this by providing our employees with a state-of-the-art training program that will educate our employees for the opportunity of a lifetime. We offer 4-year (8,000 hour) Virginia Department of Labor and Industry approved apprenticeship program for overhead distribution, underground, and transmission lineperson that offers ET&D best practices to propel you to a rewarding career. We also have partnerships with community college programs that will give you a jump start into our apprenticeship.
In addition, we provide on-the-job training, classroom training, and online training resources which provides our employees with an extremely diverse educational environment. Our training department visits the field regularly to conduct apprentice observations and onsite training as needed. Further, C.W. Wright offers training resources that allow our employees to become certified in a variety of skills with many nationally accredited agencies.
